“Your struggle will shape you into a true believer of Christ, if you trust the hands of the creator to mold you with your faith…”
I have come to realize that we often send up what I call “unintentional prayers,” during sudden hardships and misfortunes. Think about it, isn’t it when the unexpected happens that we cry out simple messages to God like “Lord help me!” Maybe you can recall being pulled over for speeding and pleading with God “Please get me out of this one.” It’s even possible there was a time when you wanted something and you desperately sent up a bargain that sounded something like ” Please, if you can do this then I promise I will.. (fill in the blank).” I am not proud of it, but we have to be honest we tend to turn to God during the very specific moments that we feel we need Him; sometimes even as our last resort.
We call on God because we know He is the only person that can make our crooked path straight, the only one that can fix the things we have broken. When our back is against the wall we seek God and when he shows up and shows out, our faith gets bigger and bigger. Start turning to Christ in everything and watch the Potter’s hands mold you into more than you thought your clay could create. Remember it is always right to turn to Him in times of need, but it is equally important to turn to Him when we do not need anything at all! Turn your unintentional prayers into intentional ones and give your struggles to Him, you will be unbreakable.

Jeremiah 18: 3-5
“So I went down to the potter’s house and saw him working with clay at the wheel. 4 He was making a pot from clay. But there was something wrong with the pot. So the potter used that clay to make another pot. With his hands he shaped the pot the way he wanted it to be.
5 Then this message from the Lord came to me: 6 “Family of Israel, you know that I can do the same thing with you. You are like the clay in the potter’s hands, and I am the potter.” This message is from the Lord.”
