“Sometimes you hold on to the remnants of your past because you believe you need them. But what if God came to you and said he would erase everything, and give you a fresh start? Some people struggle moving forward because they are trying to keep all the baggage from their past. If you are traveling on the ocean, and the ship begins to sink due to an overweight ship the captain will direct the crew to get rid of the unnecessary baggage. I think many of us hold on to the baggage, the remnants of our past, and go down with the ship. Make the right choice let go and save your life. it’s worth it.”
My husband and I chose to extract excerpts of our individual writing and further discuss the matter in the text; this is a way to do exactly what our site suggests gain “His Point” and “Her View.” We did this not because we both feel so differently on topics but because we find value in two minds coming together, more specifically we acknowledge the importance of the points and views that husbands and wives and for that matter men and women have . There are many topics that my husband and I have discussed and even debated together and I have walked away from many of those conversations with a new perspective or even lesson. I chose the above excerpt not because I wanted to further discuss it but because I simply wanted to stand in complete agreement with it, not even providing my view. I believe that the metaphor used above is so on point I feel discussing it further would do a disservice to the statement!
Every so often we should learn, listen, celebrate, and appreciate the words and intelligence of our spouse. Stand in agreement with your love today, hear what they are saying and support it right there.

Matthew 18: 19
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.”
